post on my blogger blog on diabetes and moreover this will surprise every one that India has a diabetic population of fifty
million and it is on the rise.I think govt.agencies should consider
running awareness programme involving NGOs.I seriously wish
that you should not become a victim of this disease.
Diabetes is of 3 types.
1.Type one-where the body does not produce insulin.
2.Type two- where the body does not produce required insulin.
3.Type three-It occurs during pregnancy of a women.
Diabetes can make your lifestyle very difficult as you will have to
go through lot of restrictions. In order to avoid diabetes and its
various outcomes, here are some advices that you can follow:
1. Keep your body weight in control.Make sure that you have the
right body weight according to your hight and if you are more
than what you should weigh and you are gradually becoming obese, you have a higher chance of becoming diabetic. If you are
obese start working towards reducing you body weight and if you can reduce your body weight by 5%, you can reduce the chance of being diabetic by 70%.
2. Walking is very essential. You should walk as long as possible.
If done regularly, you can avoid diabetes.
3.Coffee- There is a myth that coffee is not beneficial but it just the opposite. Coffee is helpfull as it contains potassium,magne-
sium and antioxidents. This may help you to prevent diabetes.
4.you should have a sound sleep of at least 6 to 8 hours regularly.
Here, I would like to advise all diabetics to remain under medical
supervision as the diabetes is very complicated.
